Zachary Bourque

Zach Bourque joined Rice, Heard & Bigelow in 2001, and in 2010 he became a shareholder and director of the firm. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2004 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston. Zach received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Middlebury College where majored in Economics. Zach earned Academic All-NESCAC honors as a member of the school's varsity basketball team. Following a summer at Middlebury's Spanish Language School, Zach studied abroad for a semester in Madrid where he also received a fellowship to intern. Before beginning his professional career, Zach completed the Business Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Zach is a member of the firm's Investment Strategy Committee and he serves as a trustee on a numerous of irrevocable and revocable trusts. He also serves as a trustee for a number of trusts that benefit of charities and foundations, including ones benefiting Brigham & Women's Hospital, Strawberry Banke Museum, and Harvard Business School. Zach is a member and past officer and director of the Boston Estate Planning Council. He has been awarded the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation.

Zach is the former president of Middlebury's alumni association and is currently on the Board of Trustees for Middlebury. On Middlebury's board, he now serves as Chair of the Schools Board of Advisors and is a member of the Investment Committee. Zach served for many years on the Parish Council at St. Cecilia Church in Boston and as a member of the Greater Boston Food Bank's Kitchen Cabinet. He is an active volunteer coach in the youth soccer and basketball programs in Needham, Massachusetts.
